CULTURE AT WORK holiday workshops July 2016

CULTURE AT WORK Saturday family art workshops are led by artists. The program generates curiosity, investigation, experimentation, ideas and skill development and social engagement. Children make art in an artists studio environment and have opportunities to view current exhibitions in our Accelerator gallery and meet the exhibiting artists throughout the annual program.

Children can draw, build, paint or collage, use a range of building and magnet sculpture games, read art books for children, make craft or learn printmaking. The program is fun and parents or grandparents are welcome to stay and join in for free.

The program has been running for several years and recycled materials are used to make the program sustainable. Children can work on their individual ideas and explore materials in a positive creative environment.
