Jennie Feyen is currently in a 2016 Art-Science Residency at CULTURE AT WORK. Beneath The Surface is an art-science hybrid film that presents the ocean as a sophisticated life force and incorporate the scientific findings of Sydney-based researchers in marine ecology and coastal urbanisation.
Sara Morawetz is a 2014 Artist in Residence and Ph.D. candidate in visual arts at Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney. The thermographic image reveals to us digitally what cannot be seen with the naked eye: heat. Thermal imagery also anonymises a person’s identity. I will produce a HD documentary video diptych or triptych, for exhibition at Culture at Work, and then beyond.
I’ve worked as a research scientist at the University of Oxford and at the ANU and have published scientific papers on my research into drug resistance in cancer, and on the physiology of cell volume regulation. In my painting practice, I investigate parallels between research in science and in the visual arts.
Liz Shreeve is part of the 2015 CULTURE AT WORK State Street Emerging Artists in Residence Program. Liz has two works on paper in Colour on the Concrete, an exhibition at the UTS Gallery in June 2015.

Kids holiday workshops aged 4-12 yrs. The program is art and craft based with a range of activities including painting, printing, construction and drawing. The classes focus on the children’s own creativity and imagination with support in skill development, research through technology.
