Jo Burzynska – CULTURE AT WORK Art-Science Residency 2018

Jo Burzynska is multi-sensory artist whose parallel backgrounds in sound art and professional wine writing have increasingly converged in the production of art at the intersection of the senses. This regularly combines audition and the chemical senses (taste and olfaction), the interaction between and its creative application is also the topic of her current interdisciplinary doctoral research at UNSW Art & Design.

Sara Morawetz is a 2014 Artist in Residence and Ph.D. candidate in visual arts at Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney. She is also a visiting scholar at Parsons school of Fine Art, New School, New York. yet there is method is a research exhibition at Accelerator gallery from Thur 6 Nov – Sat 15 Nov. Open Thur – Sun 1pm – 5pm. Talk and closing drinks Sat 15 Nov 3-5pm.

Culture at Work Art+Science Residency – Adam Sebire

The thermographic image reveals to us digitally what cannot be seen with the naked eye: heat. Thermal imagery also anonymises a person’s identity. I will produce a HD documentary video diptych or triptych, for exhibition at Culture at Work, and then beyond.

Artist in Residence – 2014-2015 Alan Spackman

Alan Spackman is currently an artist in residence at CULTURE AT WORK. He studied a Masters of Art (Art History and Museum Studies) University of Sydney. Masters of Art (Painting) University of Wollongong and Visual Arts Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney.
